Visual Artists 2024

SHOWING AT MOOR HALL STUDIO ~  Bobby Britnell and her students, Andrew Douch, Ann Baker, Jenny Olivant, John Flecher, Julie David, Julie Wood, Moyra Hurley, Nette Atkins)

Bobby has been an artist for over 40 years and a member of the Textile Study Group, a nationally and internationally recognised group of textile artists and tutors. She teaches art and textiles from her studio in South Shropshire and brings in some of the country’s best tutors. Her students will be following a theme of the immediate glorious landscape in these Shropshire Hills. They will be working on bought canvasses and using their preferred wet media to capture the essence of the landscape. This may be either expressively executed or representational, whatever the student prefers.

SHOWING AT MOOR HALL STUDIO ~ Mixed media artist

Sarah lives in the Redlake Valley just a raven’s call from Bettws-y-crwyn. The steep-sided valleys and  woods of the area inspire much of her work. Sarah makes unique botanical monoprints using wildflowers, leaves and grasses from a meadow she manages for nature. She will also have a selection of greetings cards and handmade books and offer informal have-a-go-at-natureprinting sessions.
